Oczywiście prócz standardowych ciosów i ruchów, możemy także wykorzystywać elementy otoczenia oraz wspomniane umiejętności i cechy Logana. Jedną z nich jest chociażby wrodzona zdolność regeneracji, zobrazowana widowiskowym zasklepianiem się ran. O kolejnych niuansach i zwrotach fabuły dowiadujemy się z ciekawie zrealizowanych przerywników filmowych. Warto podkreślić również sporą widowiskowość poszczególnych scen i poziomów (np. skakanie po unoszących się w powietrzu helikopterach) oraz dość dużą ilość krwi i przemocy.
