Opis:
Bloodroots to trójwymiarowa gra akcji w westernowych klimatach. Wcielamy się w niej w mężczyznę mszczącego się na partnerach, którzy pozostawili go na pewną śmierć. Produkcja charakteryzuje się dużą interaktywnością świata i wysokim poziomem brutalności. Za jej stworzenie odpowiada niezależne studio Paper Cult (Fat Mask).
Świat Bloodroots obserwujemy z góry, z tzw. perspektywy izometrycznej. Kierując swoim bohaterem poruszamy się po lokacjach (są bardzo zróżnicowane - zwiedzamy miejsca górzyste, lasy, miasteczka itp. itd.) i zabijamy kolejnych przeciwników, wykonując bardzo widowiskowe kombinacje ciosów.
Ciekawą mechaniką, dzięki której tytuł studia Paper Cult wyróżnia się nieco na tle podobnych gier innych deweloperów, jest duża interaktywność otoczenia. Niemal wszystko, co nas otacza - siekiery, drabiny, a nawet. marchewki - może zostać wykorzystane jako broń, przy czym wiele przedmiotów posiada unikatowe dla siebie zestawy ataków. Niektóre z niesionych przez nas rzeczy wpływają także na to, w jaki sposób się poruszamy (dla przykładu, niesioną na ramieniu drabinę można wykorzystać niczym tyczkę, by pokonać wysoką przeszkodę na swojej drodze).
