Akcja gry Bright Memory: Infinite toczy się w 2036 roku. Kiedy na całym świecie zaczęto obserwować dziwne zjawiska pojawiające się na niebie, ich zbadaniem zajęło się kilku członków organizacji SRO (Super Nature Research Organization). Sprawa jest jednak bardziej skomplikowana, niż mogłoby się wydawać na początku, gdyż stawką jest przetrwanie zarówno naszego świata, jak i tajemniczej, „bliźniaczej” rzeczywistości.
W trakcie zabawy w Bright Memory: Infinite przemierzamy futurystyczne lokacje i stawiamy czoła licznym adwersarzom. Eliminujemy ich, korzystając z bogatego arsenału karabinów, strzelb i pistoletów oraz szerokiego wachlarza broni palnej.
