Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland to gra jRPG należąca do popularnego cyklu Atelier, zapoczątkowanego jeszcze w czasach pierwszej konsoli PlayStation. Akcja tej produkcji rozgrywa się w fantastycznym świecie, w którym ważną rolę pełni legendarna sztuka alchemii, umożliwiająca dokonywanie rzeczy niemożliwych w naszej rzeczywistości. Za stworzenie tego tytułu odpowiadają deweloperzy ze studia Gust. Wydaniem zajęła się firma Koei Tecmo.
Akcja Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland toczy się kilka lat po wydarzeniach Atelier Meruru: The Apprentice of Arland. Tym razem gracz wciela się w Elmerulię Fryxell - młodą, utalentowaną alchemiczkę, która uczy się swojej sztuki, by dorównać legendzie matki, słynnej Rorony Fryxell. W grze można spotkać bohaterów znanych z poprzednich odsłon serii Atelier.
Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland jest klasyczną grą jRPG. Gracze eksplorują krainę Arland (odmienioną upływem czasu), walczą i wykonują zadania. Podobnie jak w poprzednich częściach cyklu, w omawianej produkcji nacisk jest położony na zdobywanie przedmiotów (chodzi przede wszystkim o składniki alchemiczne, które pozyskujemy naturalnie, z otoczenia, a także z zabijanych potworów), podejmowanie wyborów i system rzemiosła (alchemii). Zupełnie od nowa zaprojektowano system walki - choć warto przy tym odnotować, że tworzony ekwipunek niezmiennie odgrywa dużą rolę w trakcie stać. Duże zmiany przynoszą także nowe mechaniki eksploracji i syntezy.
